5/10 Mother’s Day
This Mother’s Day, we’ll be celebrating moms in two special ways! Stick around after church to enjoy “Muffins for Moms” (and the rest of the family). Plus, we’ll be offering free family photos outdoors after service (weather permitting).

Spiritual Direction Group - Starts 6/9
This summer, Vineyard will be offering a Spiritual Direction Group. Spiritual direction is a communal spiritual practice that helps us pay attention to the work and movement of God in our lives. Our hope is that this group provides a place for you to meet with God, personally, in transformative ways, in community with other Christians. You will also have opportunities to accompany others as they do the same.

This six-week group will meet on Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm, June 9-July 14. For more information about the group and what to expect, check out our website or contact Anna or Jim.

6/7 The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course is a seven-session course designed to help couples build a better, stronger marriage. Each session begins with sharing dessert, followed by an insightful video covering topics that are relevant for every couple like Good Sex or Resolving Conflict, and ending with an opportunity for private conversation together as a couple. Through this course, you will learn practical tools to deepen your connection and keep the spark alive.

The seven-week course will run on Sunday afternoons, 3-5pm, June 7-July 19. Childcare is available. Space is limited - we have room for seven couples. Sign up online and talk to Jim or Megan if you have questions.

5/10 Sewing & Craft Group
Vineyard’s sew and craft group will meet on Sunday, May 10, 12:30-4:30pm, at Carissa Phillips’ home. All are invited to share in the joy of creativity! Plan to bring a potluck dish for lunch and all notions, supplies, and equipment needed for your project. Contact Martha Adekunle with questions.

5/16 World Vision Walk for Life
Consider joining a local group to walk for clean water. The average distance people in the developing world walk for water every day is 6 kilometers. When you and thousands of others walk 6k, you’ll help change the lives of women and children by freeing them from a life spent collecting dirty water. The event is Saturday, May 16. Register online and contact Tom Lambelet (505.307.0005) with questions.

5/18 IMPACT Celebration
The celebration is the last of the four annual gatherings for IMPACT, Vineyard’s partner organization that seeks just solutions to local problems. This year’s celebration is an especially exciting one as it marks 20 years of IMPACT and we will be commemorating some of IMPACT’s founding clergy! Come celebrate God’s story of justice, abundance, hope & promise. The event will be Monday, May 18, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. For more details, check out our Justice page.
