Been There

Through the centuries, some have scoffed at the idea of God becoming human. Why, they ask, would an infinite God limit himself? A God of great majesty would never allow himself to be so utterly humiliated. In response, the church has pointed to a God that loves the world so much, he would go to the greatest lengths and the deepest depths to rescue us from our own broken patterns. In this series, we’re looking at this very dynamic. We’re dialing in on particularly relevant experiences of Jesus that allowed him to relate to us and our experience of life because he experienced a fully human life. Yet, he is also one who can do something about it… he can effectively meet us in our experience because he is also fully God.
