Ancient Influencers

Much of what we read of the famous women in the bible sounds very out of sync with today’s cultural norms and expectations. So much so that it would be easy to dismiss them altogether. Yet, relative to their surrounding societies, the influential women of the bible received greater honor, respect and recognition than their irreligious or differently religious peers. In honor of Mother’s day, we’re taking three weeks to look at the lives of a few influential women in the scriptures, hoping to put them back into their proper place… as role models and sisters who inspire us to seek after God with all our hearts.
