advent: witnessing christmas
We all tend to experience Christmas differently. Some make it a big celebration. Others take advantage of the quiet. Some find time with family joyful. Others remember their losses or family pain. Many take time to reflect on the meaning of Jesus coming. Many others want fun without faith. One thing is certain… there are as many perspectives on Christmas as there are people. It was no different for those who lived through the first advent. In this series, we’re going to look at the coming of the Christ through the eyes of those who lived it. What can we learn about God and how might that shape our own perspectives this Christmas?
